Dr Riana van Gerve
It’s quite simple really. With science and passion, I help you to create ageless beauty.
Dr Riana van Gerve has 12 years’ experience in medical aesthetics. She graduated as a general practitioner from the University of Pretoria in 2004 and has been focusing exclusively on facial aesthetics since 2008.
Education, of her patients and herself, is of the utmost importance to her, so she makes time to stay up to date. She regularly attends international conferences and training to improve her knowledge and techniques.
Dr Riana attends the yearly Aesthetic Medicine Congress of South Africa (AMCSA). She has also attended the Cosmedica and Medical Aesthetics congresses, and participated as an assistant in the 11th international course Advances in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery in Barcelona, Spain. In 2013 she attended the International Aesthetic Medicine Congress, and in 2015, 2017 and 2018 she attended the Aesthetic Medicine World Congress in Monte Carlo.
She completed the Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine at the internationally acknowledged American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and she has also received MD Codes training by the world-renowned Dr Mauricio de Maio.
Dr van Gerve is a member of the Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine Society of South Africa (AAMSSA).
Riana loves to cook, travel, and spend time in nature (wearing sunscreen, of course).
